New partnership with St. Peter’s International School

We are proud to start a new partnership with St. Peter’s International School as their catering team.

The menus for St. Peter’s International School have been designed to ensure that they are faithful to Portuguese tradition. The food offerings have been selected to be age-appropriate, working with even the youngest children in mind so that we can support the development of their taste buds without overwhelming them with strong flavours or oversized portions.

Due to the vast age range of the pupils at St. Peter’s International School, the menus have been designed to support the children year to year, adapting the food to the evolving palates and appetites. Not only this, but we will be working with local and family run suppliers who share our ethos. In turn, they will provide us with fresh, seasonal produce of the highest quality.

A soup station with homemade bread will be served each day, utilising any waste vegetables from the previous day. In the hot servery, there will be choices of main courses, including a ‘Tasty Entrée’, a special and a vegetarian option. These will be accompanied by three side dishes. The main meal will be completed with seasonal cut fruit, and a delicious traditional and modern puddings.

Whilst the food offering is central to our partnership with St. Peter’s International School, so is the catering staff who work there. The meals will always be served with a smile and the catering team will work hard to ensure that all pupils are looked after during the lunch service, and at any other point during the school day. All the team will be supported through comprehensive allergen training lead by our Portuguese Group Manager as well as completing an Allergen Awareness Course to ensure that all the allergen management is up to date.
