This October, throughout all of our locations, we are raising awareness of #BlackHistoryMonth through the power of food with a range of delicious dishes, from different cultures.
Both staff and students at Wimbledon High thoroughly enjoyed their Black Culture Pop-up featuring wholesome traditional dishes!
Every week this month, our talented team at Gymshark have been supporting #BlackHistoryMonth through the power of tasty and nutritious food. Highlights from our #BHM inspired menu this week were; a hearty Jamaican vegetable soup, jerk chicken, Bajan fish stew and curried pumpkin.
They even celebrated the culture by enjoying music from a live steel band!
One of our Project Chefs, Paul Heritage, put on a Caribbean Pop Up at Barings, where they served hot and spicy jerk chicken and curried goat with plantain, and served with all the sides!
We hope that promoting the history and origins of traditional food throughout this month, will inform people of this very important cause.
