OUR APPROACH
Driven by a commitment to excellence, Thomas Franks embarked on a transformative journey to enhance Pangbourne College’s dining experience. We introduced fresh, nutritious, and varied menus, including two meat options and a vegetarian/vegan option daily, accompanied by an ever-changing salad bar. Emphasis on dietary requirements and allergen management ensured confidence in food safety and quality. Moreover, we revitalised the sixth form café, fostering an environment of culinary innovation and inclusivity.
RESULTS
The partnership has greatly improved student satisfaction and parental confidence. Fresh, diverse menus and enhanced allergen management have provided students and staff with a plethora of choices, fostering a culture of well-being and inclusivity. The catering team, once uninspired, now feels valued and supported, contributing to the evolution of the food offer and delivering top-notch service during high-profile events. Added value workshops and theme days have enriched the student experience, while the emphasis on hospitality has elevated Pangbourne’s profile, showcasing exceptional food and professionalism to dignitaries and VIPs.
