In August 2023, Thomas Franks revamped the catering with a chef-led focus, prioritising fresh, nutritious meals in collaboration with family suppliers. Our initiatives like meat-free Mondays, low-sugar, low-salt menus, and snacks throughout the day cater to diverse preferences. Specially tailored menus, guided by a parent group, enhance community engagement. Olivia, our Nutritionist, hosts informative sessions, deepening understanding of our nutrition approach. Charity initiatives like Feeding Communities underscore our commitment. The upcoming biodigester installation aligns with the school’s ESG agenda, promoting sustainability. Hospitality events, like Oktoberfest Street parties, celebrate the school’s culture and engage stakeholders.
