We have a fantastic opportunity for you as a CPU Operations Manager to join our fantastic new Central Production Kitchen in Balham, London.
You will ideally have previous experience of working within a fast-paced catering environment. You will enjoy what you do, working with a great team, for a company fanatical about food serving wonderful customers.
Must be a good all-rounder. Punctual, friendly and approachable.
Key responsibilities:
- The overall accountability and responsibility for all aspects of the food production operation within the CPU including purchasing, storage, preparation, cooking, packaging and distribution of a rage of ambient, chilled and grab & go or ingredients to various locations within London and surrounding areas in an efficient, safe and profitable manner.
- Must have a prior experience in food manufacture or Central production kitchens.
- Must have solid management experience of whole team operations, from packaging to cleaning.
- Experience and knowledge of equipment & Machinery for production on scale.
- Manage all aspects of Health and Safety, Environment and Quality Assurance. Role modelling safe behaviour and reporting unsafe behaviour, near misses and accidents/incidents to management in a timely manner.
- Cleaning and safety experience, managing COSHH and paperwork for EHO visits
- Quality control skills
- Excellent time management and organisation
